Two people suffered minor injuries when a car and a tour bus, with 24 passengers, collided in Fiordland today.
The Trusty Tours bus and the car collided on State Highway 94 in the Hollyford Valley, between Te Anau and Milford Sound, about 2.15pm.
Constable James Ure of Te Anau police said the bus driver took evasive action to avoid a car which was turning into a Department of Conservation camp site on the Upper Eglinton section of the road near Knobs Flat.
Both vehicles had been travelling towards Te Anau.
The bus left the road and came to rest in water, suffering moderate damage.
