Two people have died following a crash in the Manawatu this evening.
Police say emergency services were called at 7.20pm to a single car accident on Pryces Line in Halcombe.
The two occupants in the car died at the scene.
Pryces Line was closed between Halcombe Road and Makino Road intersections and diversions were in place this evening. The road has now been reopened.
The Serious Crash Unit are investigating the cause of this tragic incident.
