Two New Zealand short films make international festivals

Two New Zealand short films have been selected to screen at festivals in France and Germany. Break, directed by Shona McCullough, about the relationship between a boy and his mother, will screen at Claremont-Ferrand from January 27 to February 4.

And Blue Willow, an animated film directed by Veialu Alia-Unsworth will screen in Berlin from February 9 to 19. Also invited to the Berlin festival is Wellington-based producer Catherine Fitzgerald, who has been asked to judge.
