Two of the accused in the celebrity drug scandal have given up the fight to protect their identities.
A number of high profile people have been charged or named in court documents in the case, including two former sports stars.
Bar manager Philip Clark, 32, and businessman Elliot Worrall, 31, had name suppression lifted when they reappeared in the Auckland District Court today. They did not oppose name suppression being lifted.
However, four others had name suppression continued in spite of an application by media organisations for suppression to be lifted.
The suppression order will be challenged in court next week.
All six, who face a variety of drugs charges, were remanded until next month for a depositions hearing to be set.
Five of the six are free on bail and the sixth, a 55-year-old company director, alleged to be a ringleader, is in custody.
When the six appeared in court last month two household sporting names were included in court documents.
So far they have not been charged and their names remain suppressed.
Judge Simon Lockhart was also told in court today that a seventh person had been arrested.
