Two murder probes for Wanganui police

Two homicide investigations have been launched following the discovery of a naked body in the Whanganui River and an elderly woman found dead in her Marton home. The body recovered from the river yesterday was a female European believed to be in her 20s. Marton woman Mona Catherine Morriss, 83, was found dead by family members on Wednesday.
