Two men have been charged after a series of ram-raid burglaries in Hamilton and West Auckland.
In the last three months, offenders committed six ram-raid burglaries at commercial premises which sold high-end electrical equipment, police said.
A significant amount of stock was taken in each incident.
Police were particularly concerned about the most recent burglary in Hamilton on May 26 in which a security guard was allegedly threatened by an offender carrying a weapon.
Three search warrants were executed at properties in Hamilton, Huntly and West Auckland today. A significant amount of stolen items were recovered which were believed to be linked to the burglaries.
