Two killed in weekend road accidents

Two people died on the roads over the weekend.

On Saturday morning, a 40-year-old Te Kuiti man was killed after the car he was a passenger in crashed on Waitomo Caves Rd.  Police this morning named him as Lee Martin Evans.
At 10pm on Friday, a 48-year-old Christchurch woman died when her car and another collided in the suburb of Halswell.

The road toll stood at 212 last night.
