Two Tokoroa teenagers have died after their motorcycle collided with a truck in the Bay of Plenty early today.
The youths, aged 19 and 16, crashed head-on with the truck on Whakamaru Road on State Highway 32 about 1.45am.
The crash happened near the intersection of Forestry Road and SH32, about 10 kilometres north of Whakamaru Dam, police northern communications Inspector Tony Edwards said.
The truck driver was uninjured.
The Taupo Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
