Two people have suffered moderate injuries in a crash on Great South Rd in Manukau in South Auckland.
The two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Redoubt Rd, next to Rainbow's End, just before 8pm.
A police spokeswoman said one woman was initially trapped in her vehicle but was conscious and breathing.
She and the driver of the other car were both in a stable condition with moderate injuries.
Great South Rd was blocked in both directions but both vehicles have now been removed from the intersection.
