Two people were injured when a liquor shop in Pt Chevalier, Auckland, was robbed yesterday. Police said the owner was taken to hospital with a head injury and his wife received a cut to her hand.
Inspector Scott Webb said four offenders fled the scene in a grey Mitsubishi Lancer along Great North Rd toward the Pt Chevalier area.
One of the offenders is described as Maori, with stocky build, aged 18-20 years, wearing a cap and large black glasses.
