Two people are being treated for burns after a fire in a Kawerau sleepout this morning.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said the crew was called to the property in Bowen St at about 10.40am today.
The fire had been extinguished when they arrived but two people with burns were being treated by ambulance. The cause of the fire was unknown.
