Two people were injured when a bus slid off the road and into a bank northeast of Kaikoura in Marlborough today.
The Atomic Shuttle bus, carrying about 40 people, failed to take a bend on State Highway 1 about 2km northeast of Kaikoura, shortly after 11am, a police southern communications spokesman said.
The bus slid clear of the road and traffic was flowing freely, he said.
Two passengers suffered minor injuries and were taken to a medical centre in Kaikoura for treatment, St John northern region spokesman Ian Henderson said.
