Two injured after vehicle crashes into Auckland traffic light

Two people have been injured after a vehicle crashed into an Auckland traffic light.

Police are attending the crash on Lagoon Drive in Panmure.

One person seriously injured and another person moderately injured.

Lagoon Drive is temporarily closed between the Panmure roundabout and Korma Lane.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area, however the road is expected to be reopened within the hour.

The serious crash unit is investigating.
