Two people suffered leg fractures in a collision between a front-end loader and a campervan north of Oamaru today.
The crash happened on State Highway 1, north of Pukeuri, just before 11.30am, Senior Sergeant Steve Aitken said.
The campervan was travelling south when it and the loader, which was travelling in the same direction, collided, resulting in the campervan rolling.
An ambulance spokeswoman said two occupants in the campervan, a male and a female, suffered multiple leg fractures and were flown by rescue helicopter to Dunedin Hospital.
Mr Aitken said the driver of the front-end loader was uninjured.
