Two people are in hospital after a motorcycle and a bicycle collided on the Kapiti Coast this afternoon.
The accident happened just before 12pm on State Highway One at the turnoff to Te Horo beach, police communications spokesman Guy Callahan said.
Both the cyclist and the motorcyclist were taken to hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.
State Highway One was closed to one lane, which caused traffic delays.
The scene has since been cleared and the road reopened just before 1pm, Mr Callahan said.
