Two men have appeared in court in relation to a truck fire in Carterton.
In the Masterton District Court on Thursday, 21-year-old Joshua Tyler Campbell of Masterton was charged with setting fire to, and interfering with, a Hino truck (pictured) in Carterton on August 9.
Kelsey Drew Dittmer, 20, of Carterton was charged with dishonestly getting into the same vehicle.
The cab of the eight-and-a-half tonne vehicle was set alight overnight the previous Saturday while it was parked outside a house on McKenzie Terrace in Carterton.
Both Campbell and Dittmer were remanded on bail and are due to appear in court again on September 3.
