Two men appeared in court yesterday charged with armed robbery of an Auckland bank.
The men, aged 20 and 32, appeared in the Auckland District Court facing one charge each of robbing the ASB in Royal Oak armed with a shotgun.
They were granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody to reappear tomorrow.
A duty solicitor argued they needed time to notify family of their arrest.
A third suspect was still on the run. The 20-year-old had injuries thought to have been sustained in the course of their capture, including a bandaged left leg and a bandaged right wrist.
