KEY POINTS:
Two men were hospitalised in Dunedin with head injuries early this morning after being attacked in the central city.
Senior Sergeant Brian Benn said the victims suffered head injuries after being kicked by a man at about 2am.
The alleged offender was charged with assault with intent to injure and will appear in Dunedin District Court this morning.
Mr Benn said police would oppose bail.
