Two people have been hospitalised following a two car crash in Canterbury.
Police were notified by Fire and Emergency Services at 4.30pm today of a two car crash, with one car reported to be off the road, in the rural town of Dunsandel.
One person was reported to be trapped with serious injuries.
A St John spokesperson confirmed two people had been transported to Christchurch Hospital, one with serious injuries and the other with moderate injuries.
The incident happened near the intersection of Heslerton Rd and Main South Rd.
