Two earthquakes shake North Island

Save The North Island has been rattled by two earthquakes overnight.
A magnitude 4.1 quake struck at 9.31pm last night, 10km west of Taihape and at a depth of 4km, GeoNet reported.
It was felt in the Manawatu region.
         This was followed shortly by a magnitude 3.1 quake at 10.02pm, 30km
         east of Pongaroa and at a depth of 25km.
        
It was possibly felt in northeastern Wairarapa, GeoNet said.
