Two dead after crash between vehicle and motorcycle on SH8, Central Otago

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on SH8 yesterday.

Two people have died after a crash between a vehicle and a motorbike in Central Otago.

The crash was reported at 5pm on Wednesday on State Highway 8, the Cromwell-Clyde Rd.

A police spokesperson said the motorcyclist and the single occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

“The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.”
