Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman and 37-year-old man in connection with a string of rapes in Hamilton.
The duo was taken into custody after officers swooped on a rural property near Cambridge late on Friday night.
Each faces three charges of rape and one of unlawful sexual connection. The man faces an additional charge of performing an indecent act in a public place.
Police also seized a Toyota Estima they believe was involved in the attacks, which took place last July, on December 13 and January 24.
Two victims, both women in their 20s, were lured into a van in central Hamilton as they walked alone between 3am and 4.30am. The victims were picked up near the intersection of London and Angelsea Sts.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Andrew BuBear said there may have been other incidents. "We would urge anyone else that has been in the same situation ... to come forward as well."
The third victim contacted police as a result of media coverage.
