Two youths have been charged in connection to the death of landscape designer Nicole Mace in Ponsonby. Mrs Mace, 37, died in hospital after being hit by a car as she crossed Ponsonby Rd on May 3.
A 17-year-old apprentice panel beater/car painter from Ranui has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and a 19-year-old part-time student from Grey Lynn is charged with being a party to dangerous driving causing death and operating a vehicle in a race.
Both men will appear in the Auckland District Court next month.
