Two caught after bank robbery in Wellsford

Two people have been caught by police after a bank robbery in the small town of Wellsford, north of Auckland.

Police said the Bank of New Zealand was robbed shortly before 9am today.

No other details were available but police confirmed they had apprehended two offenders although they did not release details of possible charges.
