Police have arrested two men in connection with the armed robbery of a Blenheim dairy and are looking for a third.
Two men brandishing knives entered the Muller Rd Dairy about 5.40pm on Monday and took cigarettes, Blenheim police said.
They left in a white, four-door station wagon, which was parked behind the dairy and may have been driven by a third person.
Two men were arrested about 5pm yesterday.
Police were now looking for Quade Ross Honey, 21, who was also believed to be involved in the robbery, Detective Sergeant John Hamilton of Blenheim police said.
"We are also interested in the movements of the 1992 white Holden Berlina station wagon registered number UY2241," he said.
Mr Honey was believed to have been using the car about the time of the robbery.
Police wanted to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle near the dairy in the late afternoon and around the time of the robbery.
"It is possible the men laid up somewhere in those areas and prepared themselves for the robbery putting on extra clothing and covering their faces," Mr Hamilton said.
"It may be someone has been offered the stolen cigarettes without knowing where they came from and we would be very interested to hear from these people early."
