Police say they have arrested two men after a series of unprovoked attacks on tourists in Queenstown.
Three separate groups of male tourists were punched and pushed to the ground during the assaults on Friday night, said Detective Lisa Watt of Queenstown police.
Several of the victims suffered suspected broken noses.
The arrested men, one aged 31 from Christchurch and the other aged 28 from Timaru, will appear in Invercargill District Court on Tuesday.
