Two men have been arrested in relation to the murder of Kiwi man Tiki Hunia who was shot dead in Jamaica.
Mr Hunia, 27, and his wife Nickie-Jean were approached by a gunman in the yard of the guest house in which they were holidaying on Upper Montrose Rd - an expensive area known as the "Golden Triangle" in the Kingston suburb of St Andrew last month.
Jamaica police spokesman Karl Angell said two men were arrested today and will be a part of an identification parade later this week.
Mr Hunia and his wife lived in Hong Kong and had attended Waikato University together.
Hundreds of mourners turned out to farewell the 27-year-old last month.
Mr Hunia was farewelled at Ruaihona Marae in Teko in the Bay of Plenty where he grew up.
A trust to recover the costs of family members who travelled to Jamaica to support Mr Hunia's wife and accompany his body back to New Zealand has been set up.
