KEY POINTS:
Two women were arrested after a knifepoint robbery at a Hamilton medical centre yesterday afternoon.
Police said two people entered the centre on Victoria St and demanded "a quantity of medication" just before 4pm. Police stopped two women in a car soon afterwards.
Detective Sergeant Neville Ross said the crowds in Hamilton for the V8s had not slowed police down.
"The robbery happened about lap 21 and they were in custody by lap 33."
