KEY POINTS:
Two young men will appear in court today after an armed robbery on a Dunedin dairy last night.
Sergeant Ed Baker of Dunedin police said today that two youths entered the dairy about 9pm.
They confronted two shop assistants with a knife and got away with alcohol, cigarettes and cash from the till.
Mr Baker said police cordoned the area and found two youths hiding in the nearby Jubilee Park area.
The shop assistants were not hurt, Mr Baker said.
Two young men, aged 16 and 17, will appear in Dunedin Youth Court today charged with aggravated robbery.
