KEY POINTS:
Two men have been arrested for setting off two petrol bombs underneath a police car and tagging the Mt Maunganui police station and vehicles in March last year.
At the time police said the attack may have been in retaliation for a series of search warrant executions.
A 21-year-old Papamoa man and a 20-year-old Tauranga man were arrested and jointly charged with intentional damage and arson of the station and vehicles. They appeared in court yesterday.
