Twelve people have been involved in a crash between a taxi and a shuttle bus in Christchurch.
The collision happened just before 4am at the intersection of Manchester and Worcester Streets.
Passengers were trapped when the shuttle bus rolled onto its side and the Fire Service had to cut off the roof of the vehicle to get people out.
Several are now in Christchurch Hospital, but none has life-threatening injuries.
