TVNZ will this afternoon announce the network's replacement for NZI Business presenter Corin Dann.
Sources have told the Herald that Dann's offsider, Nadine Chalmers-Ross, has been offered the job.
Chalmers-Ross has been a regular stand-in presenter for Dann on the show.
Dann, 36, has moved within the network to co-host Breakfast with Petra Bagust, 38, who was poached from TV3 after 14 years working there.
The pair replace Paul Henry and Pippa Wetzell as presenters of the show from January 17.
Henry resigned from the show after a string of incidents including on-air comments that Auckland-born Governor-General Sir Anand Satyanand didn't sound like a real New Zealander.
Wetzell has taken leave to have her third child.
