Television New Zealand boss Rick Ellis says he believes TV One has turned around its performance and is starting to pull in more viewers and more money.
Mr Ellis told Parliament's commerce select committee that audience and revenue for the quarter ending September showed the first year-on-year increase in three years.
TVNZ remained the dominant broadcaster by audience share and Mr Ellis believed the rot in recent years had been halted.
TVNZ reported a loss recently after undergoing restructuring.
