With summer to look forward to, few Kiwis are likely to be suffering from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) right now. However, grey skies and rain can take its toll, especially in the Northern hemisphere, so three Danish mechanical engineers have made reverse sunglasses called Seqinetic. They're not exactly cat-walk cool, but this could spark a trend in truly sunny sunglasses.

A new piece of software will make using a computer easier for people with motor disabilities. Clicking a mouse may seem like a simple task to many, but for some people it can make interacting with a computer difficult. With Clikka Mouse software no clicking is required. Instead, you programme the mouse cursor with various settings so that it will select icons for you.
Slowest fastest camera
Jokingly dubbed "the world's slowest fastest camera" by one of the professors at MIT involved in its development, is the Picocam. The camera derives its name from its ability to capture one exposure every picosecond (one-trillionth of a second). However, it is a slow process because achieving a recognisable image means repeating the action thousands of times.
