Trucks crash on Auckland's northern motorway

A smash between two trucks left a lane blocked on Auckland's northern motorway this morning.

The accident happened at 9.50am with the crash leaving a citybound lane blocked on the motorway just before Oteha Valley Road exit.

The crash scene was cleared by 11.30am.

Earlier fire, police and ambulance attended the crash. No details were available about the number or extent of injuries.

The New Zealand Transport Agency advised motorists heading into the city to expect their journey to take longer than usual due to the accident.
