Truck rolls on motorway

A truck driver had to be cut from his vehicle last night after it rolled on the Southern Motorway near the Market Rd offramp.

Police Inspector Lance Burdett said the truck was heading south when it hit a construction barrier at 9.30pm.

The driver was taken to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition.

Traffic was diverted through Gillies Ave.
