Truck rolls on Auckland motorway

Auckland rush hour traffic slowed to a crawl on Auckland's Southern Motorway this afternoon after a concrete truck crashed near the Greenlane interchange.

Three southbound lanes of the motorway at Greenlane were closed after the accident, which happened shortly before 4pm.

The truck was moved and debris was cleared about an hour later, although congestion remained heavy for some time.

Queues went back to Bond Street on the Northwestern Motorway, and to the Auckland Harbour Bridge on SH1.
