KEY POINTS:
A hazardous chemical heavy truck rolled overnight closing a section of State Highway 1 in Waikato.
The accident happened 2km west of Tirau, no one was injured, Senior Sergeant Anthony Edwards said.
The road was expected to remain closed until 11am today.
A diversion is in place via SH27 and SH29.
