Major traffic delays were caused on Auckland's Southern Motorway after a truck caught on fire this morning.
Police have now cleared the scene. Traffic both south and north bound is moving again and police expect the area to be free flowing within the hour.
Police said the truck and trailer was travelling south when the cab started to smoke and burst into flames in the vicinity of the Ellerslie/Panumure off-ramp.
Motorists are still being warned to drive with caution.
