KEY POINTS:
A truck and trailer unit flipped on the Northern Motorway on Auckland's North Shore this morning, blocking the carriageway.
Both northbound lanes were closed from Oteha Valley Rd and were due to re-open at 9.30am.
Inspector Turepu Keenan said: "Conditions are dangerous due to the foggy conditions."
Motorists were advised to use SH17 or East Coast Rd to Silverdale instead.
