Truck fire delays traffic

A truck which caught fire on Auckland's Southern Motorway caused major delays to traffic this morning.

A flat tyre on the truck caught fire at 5.40am and caused a lane to be closed.

Inspector Cornelius Kluessien said a tow truck would be at the scene - between the Papakura and Takanini off-ramps.
