Truck Driver - Full Time

Waste Management has a vacancy for a full time driver to join their friendly team in Hawkes Bay. The full time role will be initially assigned to the Monday to Friday Municipal Bag Collection in Napier. To be successful in this role you must hold a minimum current class 2 drivers licence; be physically fit and energetic.

Truck Driver - Part Time

Waste Management also has a vacancy for a part time driver to join their friendly team in Hawkes Bay. The part time role will be initially assigned to a full day on Friday for the Municipal Bag Collection in Napier plus casual driving work to cover leave and business demands. To be successful in this role you must hold a minimum current class 4 drivers licence; be flexible and reliable.

Key responsibilities for both of the positions will include:
• Safely driving collection vehicles to defined routes and schedules
• Providing leadership for support crew that are involved in the collection
• Accurately updating job data in modern truck computer technology
• Truck maintenance and efficient driving management
• Being well-presented and wearing compliant uniform at all times
• Providing excellent customer service
