A truck driver is dead following a collision between his truck and a passenger train in Waikato today, KiwiRail has confirmed. The collision occurred at a level crossing on Te Onetea Rd near Rangiriri at about 9.45am. Inspector Freda Grace said the crash claimed the life of a 28-year-old man and several investigations are now underway.
