A truck driver has died after crashing their truck on State Highway 27 in the Waikato, just before midnight.
Police said the B-train truck was found lying on its side in Mangatarata, 2km south of the SH2 intersection, by a passing motorist around 11.50pm.
Emergency services found the driver inside the cab.
The driver was killed in the crash.
SH27 is still blocked but a diversion is in place at Mahuta Rd South.
