Truck crash leaves power lines across the road

A truck accident in Glenfield has left live power lines strewn across the road near a primary school.

Police said the incident occurred directly outside Glenfield Primary when the truck collided with a power pole earlier today.

As a result Chivalry Rd has been blocked off.

Teachers will escort the children to Bentley Ave where it is safe for parents to come collect them.

Police and fire crew are at the scene.

A police spokesperson said he was not aware of any injuries as a result of the incident.
