A train and truck have collided in South Canterbury this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash near the intersection of State Highway 1 and Arundel Belfield Rd, north of Temuka, at 10.58am today, a southern fire communications spokeswoman said.
A police southern communications spokesman confirmed a truck and train had collided.
The truck driver was believed to have been injured in the crash, but the driver's condition was not known.
