Emergency services are at a crash involving a truck and a car in Kaukapakapa, north of Auckland.
A light truck lost control and rolled on its side before colliding head-on with a car on Kahikatea Flat Road, near Dairy Flat. The accident happened just after 7pm.
The driver of the truck suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the second vehicle has non-serious injuries, police said.
Authorities have partially blocked off the road as they work to clear the scene. Motorists are being warned to avoid the area or to expect delays.
