A collision today between a truck and trailer and a commercial painting van towing a cherry picker near Palmerston North left three men injured.
Senior Sergeant Ross Grantham of Feilding police said it appeared a truck and trailer and pulled out onto State Highway 3 near the Oroua Bridge, around 13km northeast of Foxton, and the commercial van collided with the trailer.
Three men in the van suffered moderate injuries: two had facial cuts and one hurt his leg.
Following the crash at 7am, the road was closed and was expected to remain closed until 9.30am while police completed a scene investigation.
