The leader of the Tribal Huk gang Jamie Pink will fight weapon possession charges laid against him.
Pink, of Ngaruawahia, was arrested twice last month.
Appearing before a registrar in the Hamilton District Court this morning, Pink's lawyer entered not guilty pleas to two charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and one of possessing an offensive weapon.
Pink, whose full name is Allan James Pink, was stopped by police in Hamilton last month and his car searched.
He was arrested and charged with possession of an axe and studded baseball bat.
