KEY POINTS:
A trial date has been set for the 15 year-old boy accused of murdering tourist Karen Aim.
The youth made a brief appearance in the Rotorua High Court this morning.
He will stand trial in February next year and the trial has been set to last four weeks.
Ms Aim, from Scotland, was killed in January while on a working holiday in Taupo.
At an earlier hearing in the Taupo Youth court, the boy denied the charge against him.
Police allege he fatally bashed Ms Aim when she was walking home after a night socialising with friends.
The boy has been remanded in custody. He cannot be named for legal reasons.
